Months in the making, (and to our boys' great delight when they found out Christmas Day!), we made a road trip to California with 6-day park passes to Disneyland just burning a holes in our pockets!
What's more, my dear in-laws made the trip (my mother-in-law even rode with us on the 19 hour trek!). And to make it even more exciting, my sweet sister-in-law, brother-in-law and their 3 little boys came across the country and met us at Disneyland!
And a bonus, while in California, we were able to see my uncle and aunt and have 2 very special meals with my grandparents.
My grandparents are so dear to us and each moment with them was so precious!
T has always treasured my grandma. It touches my heart to have them together, seeing how clear it is that he loves her as much as I do!
~ Their beautiful house is the same one I grew up spending many days of my life at, so many great memories here held dear to my heart! ~
Each day at Disneyland we arrived before the park opened and were the last ones on the rides each night as the park closed! Having it be the slowest time of the year, we literally ran from ride to ride and walked on with little or no wait in line!
As soon as we got the boys to bed at night, we were SO exhausted we would just head to bed too! :)
Another wonderful treat was to have good friends change their Disney plans from spring break to last week to be there the same week as us, so it worked out that T was able to spend 4 out of 6 days with his best friend!
Over the next few days I hope to post the fantastic adventures and truly unforgettable moments with our kids at the Happiest Place on Earth!
