Words can not describe the breathtaking beauty we encountered around every corner of the island of Maui.
From abundant waterfalls to stunning sunsets, morning walks along the soft sandy beaches to our favorite hike through a bamboo forest...there's no doubt that THIS is paradise.
We felt so blessed to be able to have this special trip. Between all the perks of my sweetheart's traveling (air miles and free nights at hotels) and my sweet in-laws taking great care of our 3 boys, we knew this was something extraordinary.
As we checked into our hotel, (scheduled to have "garden views" of the parking lot), we were upgraded to this room on the 6th floor (never hurts to ask!!)!

I looked out on our balcony and saw a Hawaiian man gingerly climbing this palm tree to trim it -- fun to see how effortless it was for him! :)
We walked several miles each morning along the ocean...starting each day this way was truly one of the highlights of our trip
