Decking Our Halls 2015

~ A Thrill of Hope, the Weary World Rejoices… ~

~ Fall on Your Knees, Oh Hear The Angels Singing…~

I believe a sacred stillness -- PEACE -- in its purest form, washes over us at Christmas time -- if we dare to stop and embrace the true meaning of Our Savior's Birth.

The weeks leading up to Christmas were filled with all 4 of my guys coming down with a 4-day stomach bug.  This isn't what one would welcome during this time of year, and yet, it brought an unusual calm and quiet to our normally bustling house belonging to 3 active little boys.  In a strange way, this time allowed for more stillness and simplicity when we need it most.

Our front room tree held a train set delivering special notes to each boy -- their sweet ideas never cease to amaze me and bless my heart.  LOVE.

Worn but trusty bells jingle on our door knobs to share the news that someone has arrived, decorations, ornaments and wreaths have been hung just-so to bring Christmas cheer…

Yep, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!  :)
