Beginnings of our Roof and More!

New and Long-Awaited Milestones -- The Doors, Windows, Metal Roof Materials and the Beginning of Installation (apparently there's only one roofing team from this company that specializes in metal roof installs.  They "dropped off", with a large crane, our roof makings then sadly left for several weeks on some bigger jobs)…This is how it stands at the moment:

And (see below) the Barn/Garage is now constructed is now ready and awaiting it's roof as well!

This will become "Big Red" (when the weather is warm enough for paint to adhere) with an outer staircase to the room upstairs for a man-cave, gathering room or guest room type thing...

And below you'll find the newly installed wood burning stove pipe on the roof, the mudroom door one the far left, french doors and large windows added in the family room. 

 Once the roof is completely installed, we will then begin the arduous task of heating and dehumidifying the house so we can finally move on to drywall.

Next up: metal roof install, house wrap, siding, front and back porches then hopefully fencing around our property
