Passionate Love

Passion and love go beautifully hand in hand together and enrich each other.

This is passion week. The passionate and breathtaking love I speak of is a precious, passionate love far deeper than you will discover anywhere else on this earth. This love did the unbelievable, not because I deserved it but because He loves me and wants me to be His child -- forever.

The One I speak of is God. Although it's hard to imagine, He loved me so much that He sent His One and Only Son to earth to live a perfect life with the sole purpose of stepping in and taking MY sins upon Himself as He hung on the wretched cross and died a horrible and undeserving death. Just because He loves me! And you! He did this JUST for us!

Be still.

Take a moment to really embrace this beautiful and perfect love. Embrace this grace. Embrace this gift. For you!

I am so amazingly blessed to be called a child of God -- because I simply asked Jesus to forgive me from my sins and come into my life as my Savior. As my Savior He has transformed me and washed me clean. I am not worthy, but somehow He thinks I am. That is all that matters.

As Jesus hung on the cross 2000 years ago He thought of ME as he paid my ransom. No one else has ever or will ever love me like that. He would have still died if I was the only one on earth that needed Him to.

Because He is God's Son, not only did He die but He rose again. He now lives! That's what Easter is ALL about!

Search the whole world over, a more passionate love you will not find! You, my friend, are passionately loved!!! :) He'd rather die than live without you.

I do not know how many days I have on this earth but I do know that I will have eternity with Jesus! Because He first loved me.
