Joy Comes in the Morning

"...weeping may remain for a night but rejoicing comes in the morning." Psalm 30:5

Ever had a horrible nightmare that's so vivid you can't help but feel consumed by it, only to then wake in the morning to beautiful sunshine and clear sky, filling you with a renewed sense that everything will be alright?

This is my reality today.  There was indeed weeping this past week as we pushed through a number of trials with our boys.  The fog rolled in thick.

However, this morning, as I woke, the sunshine and clear sky out our window penetrated deeply and filled my heart with joy.  The exhaustion from the hard punches thrown our way still lingers, but there is also great joy.

The seemingly endless screech of the thermometer beeping to indicate a fever on the rise, (that even echoed in my dreams), is now replaced with laugher on the lips of our boys once more.  And what a beautiful sound it is!

(The picture above was taken last night, our first fever-free night with all 3 boys we had since last Sunday!)

We also ended our week with awesome news about our T and his mole!  The lab results came back indicating that his mole was irregular but on the mild side of the spectrum.  These are the types of moles that can sometimes down the line change and become more serious, manifesting into melanoma if not caught and removed.

Praise the Lord that the doctor had the clear vision and wisdom to remove his mole at 6 years old and did not take a chance!!!

God's hand is upon us (and thankfully has never left!) and our spirits are once again lifted.

Thank you so very much for your prayers, support and amazing encouragement, we feel SO amazingly blessed to call you our family and friends.
