Normally we would say, "rain, rain, go away, we have 2 boys that want to play!" However, on Saturday my wonderfully creative husband decided to find something good with a day that was POURING rain and 38 degrees.
Where it's raining down below, in the high country you'll find snow! And snow we really did find! In fact, it was accumulating so fast that we guessed in the short time we were playing in it we must have gotten at least 5 inches fall on us and the car!
As you'll see in the pictures, it was snowing so hard it was difficult to take pictures without the snow in the way or making shadows on faces. My hands also got a bit numb since I had to remove the gloves for taking pictures, but I think it was worth it to capture the first snow fall of the season. Fun times and awesome memories!!

I don't think I'm ready for snow yet! Although we did just purchase two sleds. Last year we waited too long and then with all of the snow, everyone was sold out. This year we are ready!
BTW, I really really like our camera. We actually found that the best deal was on Amazon. We shopped at Best Buy (to see how we liked the feel, etc) and then ordered it from Amazon. We had it within 3 days.
how fun that you live so close to the mountains! We will have to join you sometime for some snowman making!
