After several backyard visits from our local black bear (who apparently LOVES our apples!) , we opted to have our apple harvest a few weeks earlier than we normally do to discourage this "rather large" furry friend's tendency to hang out under our apple trees.
This was the 1st year that all 3 boys really had a blast picking, sorting and counting (and tasting!)...SO fun!!
