It always happens this time of year. My heals dig in. This girl is honestly just not ready for the darkness and all that fall/winter hold in the Northwest. And yet, this year has been particularly beautiful. Less rain storms mean glorious autumn leaves are granted permission to tenderly linger in all their glory a wee bit longer...
Enough for us savor each day and "gather gold" -- simply drinking it all in.

It rained all night. It appears to be time to say "good bye". I can't recall a more incredible way to "go out with a bang!".
We will now be spending more time gazing OUT the window INSIDE...
Gathering Gold of a Different Kind...
Change is not always seen as a beautiful thing. Thankfully, Our Creator orchestrated this transition into Fall as a complete masterpiece. Lacking nothing. Stunning, breathtaking and beautiful beyond description. Just. Like. Him.
