A Ninja
Tigger (Again!)
While T was at soccer practice one evening, a sweet friend (and amazing photographer) gave me a mini-lesson on taking Halloween pictures. All the above pics are ones I took as she was teaching. (I need to find a day when I can take T here to take some shots of him in costume too.)
Some of the great tips included:
-- Find a late afternoon anytime around Halloween when the weather is fair (ours was very grey but not raining), a few days before hand is ideal when the kids aren't distracted by wanting to get out the door to trick or treat or completely exhausted afterwards
-- Capture your child simply "being" their character
-- Find a location outside without a distracting background
-- Capture close-ups of special details on their costume they may want to remember
-- Try standing on gravel, bark or sidewalk instead of standing on grass due to the green color cast on faces

High King Peter (from Narnia)
Ready for candy!! :)
Our 3 Amigos! :)
After S went to bed, my mother-in-law and I took the older 2 boys to a church that was doing a walk through Narnia -- something we just couldn't pass up with our T being so passionate about Narnia!
They did such an amazing job!
The perfect ending to a special day!
