Welcome to our new homestead!
Well, here we are! We now officially live on our homestead as of July 17th.
This is our little 26-foot home nestled in on our property while we build our farmhouse. When we arrived, we had running water but no power, internet, washer/dryer. After waiting 3 days, I am very happy to report that we now have power!! It's the little things, right?!
Many people have asked how 5 people and a dog are living in this little space...See below our life-saving addition to help with this:
This is our FANTASTIC shed/studio being built that we will be able to enjoy with extra room to spread out and also has a loft above with extra storage for all our fall clothes!
The boys have loved sharpening their building skills as well with the extra boards and nails!
At 15 years old, he's running all over the property and living the dream!
Next up will be a post when the shed is complete and also updates on breaking ground!
