Oh yes! This is our new mailbox! This may not seem like much to y'all, but this symbolizes that we now officially live here at our address on the homestead (although it's been a month and a half now in the trailer, but who's counting!). Perhaps this is grasping at straws but this is the only development on our homestead at this point.
Many people have come out of the woodwork at different places we go and I'm amazed the amount who have say, "Oh! You're building a house from scratch? We did that too. Once." Ha!! The "ONCE" continues to haunt me a bit and I'm beginning to grasp their meaning!
We still await the building permits from the county -- please pray these will come back to us soon so we can break ground! Thank you!! :)
