RV Show Part 3

It's been a week since the RV Show, and pictures are past due (please scroll to the previous post to see why I have not posted sooner).

As with every RV Show we have attended, this one did not disappoint -- according to my husband and boys!  :)

Yes, in case you were wondering, I was there too.  However, I am still not as, shall we say, PASSIONATE as they are about these funny things on wheels!  I believe my problem is that I have yet to truly "catch the vision".

Sorely missed this year were the giant gorilla and larger-than-life arch ways of heart balloons.  (Picture below from last year as illustration.  Side note, P is in same sweatshirt this year too!)

(I strongly suspect that they were the first to go with budget cuts this year.)  However, to make up for it, it seems as though they really were on a mission to turn on the charm somehow.

I do believe that they put ALL their cheesiness into the music.  Although every year I have commented about the music being beyond elevator-status, they really managed to somehow take it to yet another level!

Think:  BEYOND Velveta!
Yes!  Seriously!!  :)

I caught myself several times commenting to my mother-in-law about the particular arrangement of a well known classic.

WOW!  It really was something else!

Ok, enough about the music though...the tent-trailers were the focus for my dear husband this year since our Jeep bit the dust in November and we can no longer pull a trailer.  Miss Mini-Van will now be doing the hard work!

The unique look my husband gets in his eyes when he's inside a tent-trailer is like one of a kid in a candy store!  I have included a picture so you too can see just what I mean.  (I kid you not, he did not change his expression when I took this self-portrait!)

The boys, (sharing these inherited genes with their father), also made themselves right at home (in these little "homes away from home").

I will say that the ones with a "bathroom" and a "shower" in some of the tent trailers are helping me catch the vision a little more clearly!  :)

Although this was not the year for the big purchase, apparently, "we" are putting money aside in a special bank account to pay for one of these babies with cash.  And yes, my husband really did tell the bank teller to title it the "RV fund".  (Something tells me however, this is not a first for the banking world!).

Believe it or not, you will love it!! We bought our motorhome last spring and used it almost every weekend last summer. All four of us can't wait for our first outing come the end of May! The kids really miss it during the winter and we do too! Glad your fund has begun. :)

Looks like you have been having fun! Sorry that you were sick...I was sick last week too. It really does help to put things into perspective doesn't it?
