This week felt a bit like living in a wind tunnel. With my husband working well over 80 hours, making arrivals home between midnight and 1:30 am the norm.
As it would be had, it was also the week for mid-winter break for not only T's preschool, but my Tuesday mom's group and Friday morning Bible study. Although this may not sound like a lot, I have grown accustomed to and come to LOVE the break for a couple hours with only 1 child on Mondays and Wednesdays and child care for both on Tuesdays for my mom's group and Fridays for P during Bible study.
Let's just say it was a LONG 5 days of entertaining the boys!
Then add in to the mix a virus that hit me like a windstorm.
Thankfully, my in-laws kindly took us in for several dinners and even took the boys for dinner the day my virus was the worst.
This week has left me feeling battered, but extremely thankful that this is not the norm to be this sick, not have the help from my husband most night and not have morning breaks!
It's stormy weeks like this that I can't help but see God's beautiful grace shine through my in-laws generosity and the beautiful weather we've been having.
It was not pretty, but we made it through!
