Inspired

Over time I have come to realize that I am a "words girl".

Words spoken (or written) to me have a deep and profound impact on my heart.

Knowing this, my precious husband left me a love note for me to find in the kitchen after he had left for work.

His thoughtful words were full of encouragement -- especially as it relates to the exhausting effort of disciplining our boys.  He included the scripture he had just read and gave me the much needed boost to dive into the day with our boys.  The letter concluded with thanking me for trying to help guide our kids.

I then read a beautifully written blog entry from my sister who reminded me of the need to bloom where God has planted us.  In the midst of our circumstances.

So, this morning, as I am weary from a long week, I am taking on the challenge and asking God to provide me the strength, words and courage to approach everyone and everything with a touch of love...  Praying that it may indeed be a sweet fragrance for my boys and each life touched today.

I'm sorry you've had a long week. But I'm so thankful God has sent messengers to encourage you! Hopefully tomorrow Kristen and I can be of encouragement to you also!
