Our Sweet Little Prince turned 8 months old while we were in Colorado...
In the last 4 weeks he has grown leaps and bounds in so many ways! He's mastered sitting up without being propped, rolling anywhere and everywhere as a mode of transportation, he's really into "big boy toys" (not quite as thrilled with baby toys!), babbling a ton, saying "momma"(to my great delight!), beginning to show signs of separation anxiety, and is captivated to no end with his wild and crazy older brothers.
His fluffy hair, (in the very brief moments we can see it without the helmet), is growing in a beautiful light shade of brown -- a shade in between T and P's colors. It's beginning to lay down a bit more (except at the end of the skull). I'm sad that it makes him look much older...guess I can't hold on to babyhood forever.
The helmet seems to be "old hat" to him now and sleeping is going well now too. At his head re-check for his helmet yesterday, Randall, our sweet orthopedist was impressed with S's great head progress and said we may be 1/4 of the way completed! That was encouraging news, for sure!
I'm unsure whether I should take the monthly pics with or without the helmet...so I included without this series.
Here are the pics to celebrate:
Silly and Spunky
Charming and Sweet
Smiling Eyes
