A couple of weeks ago I was whisked away to Arizona for an incredible long weekend (hoping to post pics and story!) and I brought back a couple of geodes for the boys...
To my great surprise, the boys LOVED them! I had no idea that they would find these special rocks so interesting!
On second thought...the hammering may have been a big part of the allure! :)
We had a wonderful discussion about how plain, ordinary, perhaps even considered ugly rocks, hold a stunning beauty tucked away safely inside.
