Check out the freshly chopped/stacked wood -- ALL from ONE big beautiful tree that had to be cut down before our house is built (way to close for comfort!). This pile will someday be able to warm our new farmhouse. What a fun thought! :)
The good news is that we FINALLY got through the main part of paperwork at County for our building permits so we can begin to break ground here on the homestead. The down side is that they now need more paperwork before we can move on. We're hoping to get everything back to them this coming week and, Lord willing, be able to start clearing the land in a few weeks. Stay tuned!!
