Autumn Siesta

What a beautiful start this morning! The sunshine streamed in brightly through the windows and I woke, on my own, feeling very rested!

It seems as though a whole morning at home is a rare thing for us these days. Today, however, was a great morning with a slow start. It's great not to have to rush out the door and stay in our pj's for a while!

After some great playtime and art time with the boys, I put our baby in crib time to play, and Mr. T in room time, while I showered. As I was listening over the monitor I noticed how particularly quiet it was in our baby's room...I went in to check on our precious little one and found him fast asleep. Laying on top of a book and surrounded by toys, he made a little clearing and just crashed!

A while later, I went into my room to get something, and was surprised to find some furry friends in my bed also tucked in, ever so lovingly, for a little siesta!



Normally it's rainy days that make me want to curl up and take a rest, however, this beautiful, warm sunshine is having a calming effect on us all. After a busy weekend, I think I'll just surrender too! :)
