Until now, I've never seen flowers die as beautifully as they once bloomed! I know I need to toss them now but wanted to take a few pictures to capture their unique and interesting form. My sweet mother-in-law bought me these tulips last week when my husband was out of town.
As I gaze at them, they almost seem to be graceful dancers, donning lovely, sweeping gowns...just poised and ready to make the first movements.
I can't help but be reminded by these creatively beautiful flowers that finishing well is just as important, (and beautiful), as making the most of our journey up to the end.
