The verdict is in...
After a really informative visit at Children's Hospital with a doctor who is an expert in his field, our fuzzy head will be not-so-fuzzy in the near future.
He will be getting a helmet.
His helmet is being made just for his sweet, little head and he'll begin wearing it in about a week.
The head scan today revealed that he's off from "normal" head development on his left side by 15%. Thankfully it's not a lot more severe. It is enough though that we will be literally be watching his head progress and be corrected week by week as he goes in for re-checks.
It's been a roller coaster, to say the least, but in the end, we're very thankful that we're able to get him help. And hopefully, the summer after this one, he really will be the envy of all summer crew cuts!
For now, I'm trying to get in extra cuddle time...and of course, I'm taking the time to feel his ever-so-fuzzy hair!

I'm so sorry! I know that is not the outcome you hoped for. We'll pray that it is corrected quickly!
Definitely check out getting it painted so it looks much more tollerable:)
Sorry about the helmet. I'm glad they can help him though. It will all be a memory soon! I need to chat with you about your support hose. Thinking they are in my not too distant future. (frown!) Email me sometime!!!
The good news is....he will not remember it :) It is the best thing you can do for him and his entire life will be better because of it. Hang in there. How long will he wear it? 1 year?
I'm thankful that your sweet boy's in good hands. Blessings on this journey.
Oh, that is hard to hear, but I will be praying that it will be swift and easy.
Hugs to you today.
