Another Day, Another Farm!

There are many wonderful and inviting farms surrounding us...sitting there, just waiting for us to discover their unique majesty. Today was a special day doing just that.

Our sweet little boy is now walking, however, we suspect that there may now be something that needs to be checked out with his knee on the injured leg. His leg just gives out and causes him to collapse as he is walking along. For the most part, he gets along pretty well. In true fashion, he did not want to let his limitations get in the way of the fun to be had today! :)

Mr. T was very thoughtful as he approached each animal...wanting to know as he arrived at each one if it was going to bite. (He's been REALLY into categorizing the animal kingdom in 2 ways. Yep, in his wonderful 3 year old way, "bites" and "doesn't bite". This of course refers to biting him, not other animals or their food.)

Also included at this farm is a fun playground for the kids (and weeping willows swaying over charming bridges for the adults).

It was so refreshing to be able to get out today with the help from my sweet mother-in-law and enjoy this beautiful setting in the warm sunshine. It was indeed a very special day!

OK, the bridge picture is incredible!!! And what farm is that? It's gorgeous! And I can't believe it's still cold enough out there for sweaters. Love you!

Thank you for all your sweet words!!

I am SO glad that ya'll like the last picture especially! I really have to laugh! I'm hoping that I can erase my memory of what happened right AFTER that picture so that it will be to me as magical as it appears. :)

If you click on the picture and make it big, you may be able to tell that they are not really holding hands...in fact, it's quite the opposite. Our oldest is trying his darndest to hold our baby's hand.

Our precious little one would have NOTHING to do with him and was actually pushing Mr. T's arm away from him when the picture was captured.

This was then followed by our baby dramatically throwing himself on the ground and having a tantrum because he DID NOT want his hand held!

I'll try to find the next picture in that series and perhaps post it to show the moment as it did happen.

It's nice though that other people can see that picture in such different light without the history behind it! :) Perhaps one day, I too can see this picture melt my heart too!
