~ In every season, Life's Garden provides blessings. Along our journey, we are given breathtaking glimpses of heaven, we often just have pause long enough to recognize these glimpses for what they truly are. Welcome to my attempt to bloom where I've been planted -- among the sweet blossoms and tangled thorns. I invite you to come look and see how God lovingly makes roses to bloom.~

Turning a New Page
All was unusually quiet, so I peeked into Mr. T's room to see just what he was up to. I found him really absorbed in his books. Although he has always loved books, he usually chooses trains or trucks if he's on his own...this was a precious sight.
He looks so sweet. I was thrilled too when the boys started reading alone. It's so sweet. He'll be reading to the baby, even if he is making up his own words, before you know it. Makes the heart melt!
There is something definitely sweet about seeing these busy little boys, sitting still, quietly reading. Jack LOVES books, loves being read to, could listen for hours! But I've yet to convince him that all this hard work at reading skills will pay off for him one day. Right now, playing is a higher priority. :)

yeah for reading!
I love it when "K" reads on his own.
Is it really cold enough for sweatshirts up there??? We are still in the mid to upper 80s! ~Shannon
