Living Room Almost Complete

As always, my incredible husband did not disappoint in celebrating Mother's Day. He began the weekend by giving me a huge gift. It was the sweet gift of a whole morning and afternoon without the kids. Not only was it was it a break but he encouraged me to go shopping for the living room after spending some wonderful time with a good friend at a stamping party.

Here are some pics of the new living room with new curtains, throw pillows, and picture frames on each side of the window. I am currently looking for a low bookshelf for the blank wall. I plan to use the top of that bookshelf for displaying some family pictures. And finally, to complete the project, I will be painting the frame on the oil painting dark brown. I promise to put up pics when all is done...but was SO excited to show the almost finished project! :) I REALLY LOVE IT!!
