My lovely sunshine light has been very enjoyed over the past few days since I received it.
However, I found some words on the tag that concern me. I am really not sure what to think about this:
So, do I call the number and ask how many people have gotten cancer, had birth defects, or "other reproductive harm" or should I just let it go? That sounds a bit unnerving though!
I really love this lamp and would love to keep using it but not at the price of what's above. What to do.
If this was you, what would you do?

Yikes! It's probably similar to using a tanning bed? Since I have two parents that are cancer survivors I think I would stop using it.
i'd probably stop using it, which I know may be sad since you have enjoyed it so much. maybe call and see what they say, but remember it is their product (which they probably want you to continue to use), so of course they aren't going to make it sound really bad...ya know? best of luck with this decision!
thinking of and praying for you,

Does it say what the chemical is? If so, you can look it up online and do some research... you could also call for more info. I think sometimes there are warnings on things that don't necessarily pose a serious threat just in case. Maybe the chemical is inside and it doesn't pose a threat unless you were to actually come in contact with it.) Who knows... but I'm trying to give you some hope. :) I would think it depends on how much you use it as well. Good luck!
You know how "they" have to warn everyone about everything.
"This coffee drink you are about to enjoy is hot." Of course it is!
"These pajamas could pose a fire risk if exposed to flame." Duh!
Nobody wants to get sued for anything. It sounds pretty harmless to me. But like some other people mentioned, you could check around on the internet!
I agree with Marianne. They have to put warning labels on everything. I mean, they put 'this causes cancer' on cigarettes but millions of people still smoke them :)
seriously, i don't think the amount you are using the lamp is a problem. I would just limit it to 1 hour a day or so.
Reading it over, I think it's important to note one specific detail: it's only known to the state of CA! You're not in California, so you're OK! :) --Cessy
