Beautiful Moments

Each day is filled with many moments. Some moments are simply beautiful and others, well let's just say, are not quite as beautiful. So far today I've had too many of these not as beautiful moments with 2 sick kids, however, I would like to take a few minutes to instead reflect on a few highlights that I hope will stay in my memory much longer than the less pleasant ones.

Today's special moments include: watching our precious baby in deep and peaceful sleep in his crib this morning, experiencing our boys giggle and truly enjoy each other's company while moving around inside their Thomas the Train tent, cuddling up with our sweet 2 year old to read a Disney book before nap time, and of course, there's the boys' nap time (a VERY special time of the day)!!!

Today has had more downs than ups but at this moment, I'm filled with awe and wonder as I think of all the blessings and gifts that have been graciously given to me, none of which I am worthy of. I am so blessed. And for these simply beautiful moments I am so thankful!

"From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise...When I consider your heavens, the work of your hands, the moon and stars, which you have set in place...O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!" ~Psalm 8:2,3,9
