Healing Well

Yep! Just as the doctor said it would, our sweet baby's eye looks worse (purple and such) but is healing really well. :) That's a good thing!

Thanks for all the sweet comments and encouragement -- each one meant so much to me! It's strangely comforting to know that other moms have also gone through this feeling of guilt as well.

We went in for our baby's 9-month appointment today and "Peppin" (as our 2 year old calls him) remains healthy and strong (weighing in at just under 26 pounds). It's amazing to me he's growing up SO fast! I am treasuring each and every moment.

I am overwhelmed by all the sweet blessings in my life. Sweet husband, children, family and friends. I am amazed and so thankful.
