A delightful and glistening touch of snow on the ground this morning makes for a beautiful and peaceful landscape out our window. Today, I am told, is the big boat show. This may be the most exciting aspect of the boys' day (husband included), but as for me, I think I'll just drink in the view from my window a little longer savoring the serenity and simplicity of a snow covered yard before jumping into a much different, (and beautiful, I suppose), world of hulls, sterns and bows. Both have their respected place in life and both bring great joy to our family...for that I can be thankful.
