Life Is So Daily!

One of my great loves in life is Mary Engelbreit.  Among her many charming sayings is one I find so fitting for today.  "Life is so daily".  Tis witty and true!  For me, today holds many dirty diapers, dirty clothes, and dirty dishes.  Somehow among the same daily grind I know that there is something that is different and exciting today.  Something is that is unique just for today.  

Perhaps it was this morning when I had a chance to meet a sweet lady who held the door open for me and our boys in the stroller (which was more like a school bus in the tiny post office).  Or perhaps it's the precious way I observed our 2 year old give a tender kiss to his Pooh bear as he told him he loved him and pretended to put him to sleep.

The profound truth of the Bible verse we chose for our wedding comes to my mind today, "This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it." ~ Psalm 118:24
