Thankful for Each Breath

It's one of those moments that I am pausing to reflect and praise the Lord for each breath that He has allowed me to take thus far...

One of my friends just included an unbelievably beautiful story on her blog. It is of a loving husband's account as he watched his wife (Leslie) go through and survive a brain tumor, then what seemed to be a sinus problem had turned into cancer and was consuming her lungs. Last Saturday, she took her last painful breath and went to be with Jesus in heaven. It's awesome to know that she's breathing easy now and praising God with the angels in His mighty throne room!

However, her wonderful husband and precious 3 year old little boy are now deeply missing her with their every breath.

If you have a moment, read and hear about how one man deeply loved and cherished his wife while seeking God's best for her, here's the link (just highlight the address, cut and paste -- how does one make a "live link"?):

Today, I am so grateful for the sweet gift of life and am reminded just how precious each breath is. Thank you, Lord for Leslie and her husband and little boy. Use this dear life for your glory.

It is so deeply heart breaking that I can't stop crying about it. The one and only good thing I can find (at this point) is that she is with Jesus. My heart really hurts for her 3 year old little boy and her husband.

I am sitting in bed crying after going to Leslie's blog... I can't even imagine having to go through that, how sad for everyone involved. Did you know her??
