~ In every season, Life's Garden provides blessings. Along our journey, we are given breathtaking glimpses of heaven, we often just have pause long enough to recognize these glimpses for what they truly are. Welcome to my attempt to bloom where I've been planted -- among the sweet blossoms and tangled thorns. I invite you to come look and see how God lovingly makes roses to bloom.~

Gorgeousness! Our cherry tree looked like that when we moved in, about 8 years ago. This year it is huge, with boughs spreading and growing thick enough for kids to climb in. In summer, they are totally hidden from view in its branches.
I'd love to plant another one in our backyard. I wish we could do it for our 18th anniversary this summer, but summer in Georgia is no time to plant a tree!!!
Happy anniversary. We should celebrate anniversaries more than we do! We need more strong, loving, enduring marriages. They make the world a better place.
